Matthew

Even though Matthew started cutting hair in 2011, he has a very “like father, like son” tale of how he came into barbering. Matthew, like is father Rodney, did not set out to become a barber for his chosen career. But, after trying his hand in other professions, the barbering trade eventually pulled him in, and now he is on his way to working side by side his father as a barber, and maintaining the family heritage of barbers. Since Rod’s Barber Shop has been in the Allen community for 24 years, growing up Matthew spent a great deal of time in his father’s barber shop. Come on in say Hello, get a Haircut and leave Happy!

Rodney

In 1988, Rodney made the proud decision to own and operate a classic barber shop right in the heart of Allen, Texas. However, this decision did not come easy, you see, Rodney actually did not aspire to be a Barber. He always told his family that he did not want to be a barber, even though he comes from a family line of barbers. Rodney even went off to college, but as fate would have it, he found himself in the barbering trade, and fell in love with the profession. Come on in say Hello, get a Haircut and leave Happy!
